Students at Institutions of Higher Learning Within the VVS Territory

Students at an institution of higher learning which participates in the StudiTicket program pay an additional € 40,80 when they pay their student fee. Their student ID then becomes a VVS pass, valid Mondays though Fridays from 6:00 p.m., and all day Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, for an unlimited number of rides on all VVS transit lines with the entire VVS territory.

For students who wish to ride without time limitations, the VVS StudiTicket is the best offer. You need to obtain a free VVS pass, purchase a token, and ride as much as you want on all VVS transit lines with the entire VVS territory for one semester for € 190,20.

Students at Other Institutions of Higher Learning

Students at another institution of higher learning, for example, a private college or a university outside of the VVS territory (who may be interns in Stuttgart), can take advantage of the Monthly Tickets at the Educational Fare. These tickets apply to rides from the student's residence to the educational institution (or internship location).
This is how it's done:
1. Fill in the VVS Pass order form
2. Obtain a free pass at any of your regional carrier's sales locations by providing the order form, a student ID (copy of the internship contract), and a passport photo
3. Purchase Monthly Ticket token
