Please buy a ticket before travelling
It is necessary to buy a valid ticket in order to use trains and buses. If you travel without a valid ticket, you will be fined 60 euros. Travelling without a valid ticket may lead to charges filed against you. Children under the age of 6 years travel for free.

If you are travelling by bus, you can buy your ticket directly from the bus driver. If you are travelling by S-Bahn, regional train or city train, you can buy your ticket at the vending machine at the respective station. By pressing the national flag, you can select another language.
The correct ticket for you
If you are travelling the city of Stuttgart, please buy a ticket for 1 zone or 2 zones, depending on your route. If you are travelling within a town located in the region surrounding Stuttgart (area marked grey on the rail network), please buy a ticket for 1 zone.
If you intend to travel no more than three stops by bus or city train (or one stop by S-Bahn ), you can also buy a short-trip ticket.

In the case of ticket inspection
If you are stopped by our ticket inspection staff, please show your ticket. The inspectors are entitled to inspect you.
