As a service provider, the VVS fulfills coordination tasks for local public transport in the Stuttgart region. It develops the network tariff, coordinates the services offered by the transport companies, informs passengers about the timetable and the tariff and distributes the fare revenue.

VVS receives the kununu Top Company Seal 2025
The employer rating platform kununu has once again recognized VVS as a Top Company in 2025, as it did in 2024. Only just under five percent of all companies are awarded this seal every year. This makes VVS one of the companies with the best working environment in Germany. The award is based on independent employee ratings on the platform.
