CityTicket

  • Valid from the time of purchase/validation for one person or a group of up to 5 people for a whole day until 7 a.m. the following day (tickets are non-transferable).
  • Entitles the holder to unlimited travel by bus and, where available, train within the respective city area (including all districts).
  • StadtTickets are available in all participating municipalities on buses and as mobile tickets (in some cases also from ticket machines and sales outlets).
  • VVS receives financial compensation from the participating municipalities.

In some cities and municipalities, 4-trip tickets for one zone in the respective urban area are still issued at reduced prices, e.g., via citizen service centers or similar.

Für welche Städte und Gemeinden kann man StadtTickets kaufen?

StadtTickets werden von den teilnehmenden Städten und Gemeinden bezuschusst und sind für die folgenden Gebiete erhältlich:

In welchen Verkehrsmitteln und wo gelten VVS-Tickets?
  • S-Bahn trains, local trains (RB, RE, IRE, MEX), light rail, buses including express buses, the cog railway, and the cable Car

  • in Stuttgart and the neighboring districts of Böblingen, Esslingen, Göppingen, Ludwigsburg, the Rems-Murr district, and on the rail line to/from Lorch, as well as some connecting services to/from municipalities in neighboring districts (see fare zone map )

    Note: VVS tickets are also valid on IC trains between Stuttgart and Bondorf.

MonatsTicket jedermann Stadtgebiet Herrenberg

The monthly ticket for everyone for the entire Herrenberg city area (including districts) costs €72.70 and is valid not only on buses but also on the Ammertalbahn railway between Herrenberg and Gültstein.

This discounted monthly ticket for Herrenberg is available from DB ticket machines in Herrenberg (polygoCard required), at DB travel centers in Herrenberg (issued as a paper ticket), and as a mobile ticket (VVS Mobil and DB Navigator apps).
