City-Ticket (DB tariff)

  • The City Ticket is available in 130 cities within the respective area of validity for Super Saver, Saver, and Flex fare tickets for long-distance travel (included free of charge with Flex fare tickets, subject to an additional charge with Saver fare tickets depending on the selected connection).
  • The City Ticket is valid for travel by public transport to the station at the point of departure or for onward travel by public transport at the destination.
  • Whether the station of departure or destination in the respective city/network participates in the City Ticket can be identified by the note “+City” on the ticket.
  • The City Ticket is valid for all passengers listed on the ticket.

Wie kann man City-Ticket (DB Tarif) kaufen?
  • Anyone who books a DB ticket at a saver fare or flexible fare for long-distance travel (journeys over 100 km) will automatically receive the offer.
  • No Bahncard required.
  • No City Ticket function for super saver fare tickets.

BahnCard 100 mit Deutschland-Ticket

The BahnCard 100 is your mobility card. Since May 1, 2023, the Germany Ticket has been integrated into the BahnCard 100 free of charge. This means that, in addition to the services included in the BahnCard 100 with City Ticket, all local public transport (in particular buses, subways, and trams) can be used nationwide within the area of validity of the Germany Ticket.

Please note: However, the free transport of children or bicycles with the BahnCard 100 does not apply to local public transport. The VVS fare applies to the transport of children and bicycles.
