SocialTicket

The VVS fare does not provide for a special social ticket. However, local authorities/municipalities have the option of issuing VVS tickets at a reduced rate to a specific group of people.

The city of Stuttgart has been doing this for many years within the VVS area. Bonuscard holders can purchase the Jedermann-MonatsTicket (Bonus) and Bonuscard holders under the age of 21 can also purchase the 14-Uhr-JuniorTicket (Bonuscard). A valid Bonuscard from the state capital of Stuttgart is required. This must be presented with the ticket during ticket inspections.
