The S-Bahn runs around the clock every hour on Friday and Saturday nights, Sunday nights, and on the nights before public holidays.

SSB night buses run regularly every night.

All lines run in different directions from Schlossplatz.

Departures:

Monday to Friday nights: hourly from 1:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.,

Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday nights: approx. every 30 minutes.

Nachtbusse in der Region
  • Night buses serve numerous locations that are not directly on the S-Bahn and regional train routes.
  • Night buses are available at many S-Bahn stations in the districts of Böblingen, Esslingen, Ludwigsburg, and Rems-Murr-Kreis, and most run hourly.
  • In the district of Göppingen, night buses are available at the train stations in Uhingen, Göppingen, Süßen, and Geislingen (Steige).
    Here, night buses also usually run hourly.

  • Call taxis also serve numerous locations that are not directly on the train routes.
  • Journeys by call taxi must be booked in advance by telephone or online.

Tickets
  • The normal VVS fare applies on night trains and night buses. You can travel with all VVS tickets.
  • Short-distance tickets are not valid on night buses and call taxis.
  • The TagesTicket is valid until 7:00 a.m. the following day.
