- For the whole of Stuttgart and the cities in the region, you only need one ticket for one zone at a time.

S-Bahn trains, local trains (RB, RE, IRE, MEX), light rail, buses including express buses, the cog railway, and the cable car
in Stuttgart and the neighboring districts of Böblingen, Esslingen, Göppingen, Ludwigsburg, the Rems-Murr district, and on the rail line to/from Lorch, as well as some connecting services to/from municipalities in neighboring districts (see fare zone map)
Note: VVS tickets are also valid on IC trains between Stuttgart and Bondorf.
