SingleDayTicket
- Valid from the time of purchase/validation for one person (non-transferable) for a full day until 7 a.m. the following day.
- Entitles the holder to unlimited travel within the selected zones.
- For the whole of Stuttgart and the cities in the region, you only need one ticket for one zone at a time.
- New as of September 1, 2026: Up to three children aged 6 to 14 (no family relationship required) can be brought along free of charge. This also applies to Single-Day Tickets as 10-Day Tickets and City Tickets.

Where can I buy single-day tickets?
On which modes of transportation and where are VVS tickets valid??
- S-Bahn trains, local trains (RB, RE, IRE, MEX), light rail, buses including express buses, the cog railway, and the cable car
- in Stuttgart and the neighboring districts of Böblingen, Esslingen, Göppingen, Ludwigsburg, the Rems-Murr district, and on the rail line to/from Lorch, as well as some connecting services to/from municipalities in neighboring districts (see fare zone map)
Note: VVS tickets are also valid on IC trains between Stuttgart and Bondorf.
How long are Day Passes valid after a price change?
Day tickets remain valid for one year after a price change. The last price change took place on September 1, 2026.
