- For the whole of Stuttgart and the cities in the region, you only need one ticket for one zone at a time.

Wo kann man GruppenTagesTicket kaufen?
In welchen Verkehrsmitteln und wo gelten VVS-Tickets?
- S-Bahn trains, local trains (RB, RE, IRE, MEX), light rail, buses including express buses, the cog railway, and the cable car
- in Stuttgart and the neighboring districts of Böblingen, Esslingen, Göppingen, Ludwigsburg, the Rems-Murr district, and on the rail line to/from Lorch, as well as some connecting services to/from municipalities in neighboring districts (see fare Fare zone map)
Note: VVS tickets are also valid on IC trains between Stuttgart and Bondorf.
Was muss man bei Fahrten mit größeren Gruppen beachten?
The VVS Group Day Ticket, the Metropol Day Ticket, and the Baden-Württemberg Ticket are ideal for group excursions. If you are planning a trip within the VVS with a larger group
- by train with 20 or more people
- by bus with 10 or more people
we ask that you register this with the respective transport company whose services you wish to use at least 10 days before the date of travel. Please note that it is not always possible to guarantee that all group members can be transported at a specific time using regular public transport, i.e., larger travel groups may have to be spread across several departure times.
